Korean Day Project

At the invitation of our Native English speaking teacher a group of Koreans from the Vienna branch of the International Youth Fellowship came into the school to work with two of our classes 1a and 1b.

In the first hour they began with a presentation of different dance styles including Tai Kwan Do and Gangnam style dancing.

In the second hour the children went into the art drawing room to practice Korean writing and letters of the alphabet so they could paint their names in Korean later in the third or fourth hour.

While one class wrote their names on hand made paper the other class had a history lesson which was presented to them with the aid of pictures and a scale model of a medieval Korean ship.
